Oooooohh the chicken here is fire!!! Fried to perfection and juicy on the inside. Also tried the ramen, the broth was very yummy.
Another Korean fried chicken spot in Concord and yes, that's my Yelp pic front and center lol : ) The chicken? Crispy, juicy, and dangerously hot. Our go to is the soy & honey sweet, savory, and full of flavor. Just be careful the juiciness will burn your mouth if you're not patient! The place is clean, spacious, and the staff is super friendly. Plenty of seating, so no awkward table stalking. Yeah, it's a bit pricey, but good KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) doesn't come cheap. Worth every bite. I'll definitely be back!
I don't like to rate food to go, but had to update my review. First off, how can you go wrong with a place called Mr. Lee Chicken (not Mr. Lee's Chicken). Second, Super Bowl Sunday and I placed my order for some to-go wings. They confirmed a pickup time (about an hour after I ordered) and when I arrived a few minutes early, they said it would be a few minutes. Almost to the minute, the order was ready! This time we ordered 20 wings (fried, parmesan, soy, and Mr. Lee sauce ). The wings were great, but the soy and Mr. Lee sauce were just right. I was afraid of too much sauce making things soggy, but that was not the case. The Mr. Lee sauce had a nice jalapeno bite to it. This place was cranking out orders to go, but was staying on top of things. Great job!
This is definitely my go-to spot for fried chicken wings in Concord! I have not tried a single item at this establishment that disappointed me. The service is also great. They have tables with TVs, and kimchi on the side is highly recommended. My favorite wings are Parmesan, garlic, and Lee's. The Bulgogi Bibimbap is also super yummy. This place is great for dining in and for takeouts. I've tried many other Korean chicken wings places in Concord, but I find this to be the best!
Was craving some more korean fried chicken so i stumbled onto this gem of a place. I can totally see myself bringing a geoup of friends here for comfort food, pool tables, and some alcohol + a good ol time. Ended up ordering whole wings with half nang nyum and half honey garlic to go. Would 100% coke back and try their corn cheese although wasnt sure why one order was $11.
We finally decided to try Mr. Lee Chicken this past week (through DoorDash). I ordered the 8 piece (thigh and drumstick) half original fried and half garlic. The chicken arrived still hot and crunchy. The sweet potato fries were tasty and plentiful. The chicken pieces are quite large -- perfectly fried and seasoned just right. (I really dislike the chicken restaurants that use a heavily salted brine and you end up with overly salty chicken). Mr. Lee Chicken is now my go-to place for Korean Fried Chicken. Will try some other flavors/sauced chicken in the future.
I visited Mr Lee Chicken and thought it was good but not great. Compared to other Korean fried chicken chains, I'd put it right in the middle. The batter was a little on the heavy side. We ordered 20 wings, half just fried and half Mr. Lee. The Mr. Lee sauce was great, a mix of soy, garlic, and jalapeno that was just right in terms of sweetness, saltiness, and spiciness. The place itself is pretty cool, with two pool tables and big TVs playing sports. We had it once before to-go but would definitely recommend having KFC warm and fresh if you can!
Can't believe we been sleeping on this spot. :/ We will never get chick from anywhere else the price is good and the spot is really low key with plenty of seating and even a pool table! The service was awesome they check on you and leave you all the perfect amount of time. The food was delicious and the amount given for the price was spot on. We will definitely be back.
Regular Korean Fried Chicken was cooked just right! Been to other Korean chicken places and they burn their regular fried chicken, BUT Mr Lee's fried chicken is so crunchy and delicious! We also ordered the Soy Sauce Chicken and Honey( this is their regular fried chicken with soy sauce and honey sauce). Not my favorite and won't be ordering it again, however, I would reorder the regular fried chicken. The Spam Fried Rice which was absolutely delicious. Definitely would order this again. We have tried Korean Fried Chicken at other places, but Mr.Lee's is really the best! We will return. Another benefit are the pool tables adjacent to the dining area. The pool tables are $5 per table for a half hour.
